MPN was created after my experience with workplace bullying and realising how difficult it can be, at times, for Muslim women to feel adequately supported and safeguarded in the workplace environment.

In sharing my story and connecting with fellow Muslim women, I came to the understanding that I was not alone in facing such difficulties and many women were navigating situations even more complex than mine. I could not find organisations whose work focused solely on guiding and supporting Muslim women in their professional journeys, so I decided to become the change that I wanted to see.

MPN seeks to offer a space in which the professional growth and overall wellbeing of Muslim women is at the core of its work. We endeavour to provide guidance and community rooted in professional insight and Islamic values.

My hope is that every Muslim woman who visits this platform feels understood, supported, and empowered in her career.

And to the colleagues and organisations who join us with the desire to learn and improve workplaces: your partnership is essential in creating environments where we can all thrive with confidence and respect.
