The Muslimah Professional Network was created with one intention in mind: to uplift and empower Muslim women as they navigate professional life.

Too often, we are the only one, or one of very few, in the workplaces we join and the rooms that we enter. However, that does not mean that we shrink or that we dim our light and confidence. Instead, we take up space with ambition and use our voice for self-advocacy.

At MPN, we understand that this is easier said than done. Being a minority within a minority, especially as a visible Muslim woman can bring about a host of challenges our way.

We want this network to be a space where we showcase confident and well-accomplished Muslim women who have overcome challenges, and are today thriving in their field. With this example, we hope to encourage those of us who are having a difficult time to feel empowered and inspired.

We also hope to create opportunities for genuine connection through networking, mentorship, and other forms of professional empowerment.

At MPN, you will find clear, accessible workplace guidance drawn from organisations like ACAS to help you understand your rights and seek the accommodations that you are entitled to.

Our faith is our anchor, especially during challenging moments. We hope to help you lean into it in ways that strengthen you professionally and personally.

And of course, everyone who comes with goodwill and compassion has a place here too. Our allies will find practical advice on how to foster truly inclusive workplaces and insight into what Muslim women experience on the ground: what helps, what harms, and what meaningful inclusion looks like. Your questions are welcome, and your presence is valuable.
